Sticker Shock Campaign
What is Sticker Shock?
Sticker shock is a youth-driven project with the purpose of stopping the sale and promotion of alcohol products to minors. It represents a partnership with youth, retailers, concerned parents and community members, prevention professionals, and law enforcement with the goal of educating potential furnishers, raising public awareness about underage drinking, and strengthening the deterrent effect of the law against providing alcohol to minors.
Students with the assistance of LCAC created prevention messages, which were then printed onto stickers, and placed on products in liquor stores and other establishments that sell alcoholic beverages. Our message – Don’t Buy for Minors!
